Living Leith – well indeed, I was interviewed recently by a very nice couple of young ladies about my take on Leith. It was almost to the week the 40th anniversary of my arrival here, so I suppose I had a bit to say. After we had finished, off air, one of them asked if I could be the father of so-and-so. Well, yes, as it happens, and it turns out that she is the wee sister of a contemporary of our youngest so-and-so. It’s excellent that all generations are taking an active part in keeping the Leith spirit going. It’s the only way.
