See me in action! To launch my August programme of tours I have added the new Action page (click on the button above). There are extended clips from the excellent vpro.nl Trainspotting: Shot on Location. I think it’s as good as it can be considering the film Trainspotting wasn’t shot in Leith. For comparison, see their Bloody Sunday: Shot on Location in Londonderry – there they have people who remember and were involved in the real historical events. That’s not so easy in the junkie scene.
Anyway, if you’re in Edinburgh in August, come and join a tour. See The Walks page. This year the focus is on Sick Boy, as he cruises the manto in the episode In Overdrive and indulges his fantasy relationship with Sean Connery. Start at Port ‘o Leith pub and finish at the Fit o’ the Walk, as usual.
